Getting established as a freelance writer without any prior credibility can feel like a catch-22, but I’m here to tell you — it’s absolutely possible!

Before I ever decided to pitch my services to someone else, I wrote countless emails, blogs, and articles for my own businesses and offers.

I always felt safe hiding and writing behind my own branded business…

Until one day, while discussing my love for writing and my self-doubt with a friend, they gave me a piece of simple yet transformative advice:

Reluctantly, I decided to do just that.

I pitched and pitched.

After many ‘no’s,’ I finally landed a gig:

A published article was with Century21 Fine Homes & Estates.

This national publication, renowned for its focus on luxury real estate, wasn’t impressed by my lack of professional bylines.

Nope!
